Pattern Pages

Pattern pages are one of the six types of lesson pages. Pattern pages tell you about letter patterns that represent sounds. Patterns can be a single letter or a group of letters. For example, b, ch, ea, and tion are all patterns.

Patterns have sounds and explanations. You can hear the sound by pointing or clicking on the pattern. You can hear the explanation by clicking on the speaker icon. Explanations are not part of the structured reading material and should not be memorized by students.
