Idea Pages
Idea pages are one of the six types of lesson pages. Idea pages tell you about important phonics ideas or concepts. For example, concepts such as syllable and compound word are explained on Idea pages.
Ideas have explanations. You can hear the explanations by clicking on the speaker icon. Explanations are not part of the structured reading material and should not be memorized by students.
When students encounter an Idea page they should simply listen to the idea and explanation and then go on.
